My two year old LOVES "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"... the cartoon.
She calls the Whos from Whoville, Babay Ooos.
This week I made some stockings to give as gifts for her little cousins.... they reminded me of the Whos.
Mind you, they are not my original idea - I found them on Pinterest (my awful addiction), but I've found so many sites with a similar design, that I'm afraid to give anyone credit... Who knows who created the first Babay Ooo stocking?!
Anyway... they were pretty easy to make. I purchased a canvas drop cloth, drew the design, cut two sides for each stocking, hot glued them together, painted them, and traced them with a black paint pen. I then "monogrammed" them with the paint pen, as well.
Now, we just have to fill them up with little trinkets and candy...
